With Rinkel, you choose the business number that suits you. A local number starts with an area code, is linked to a region and gives your business a local presence. A national number isn’t tied to a place and gives your business a nationwide presence.
Which number types are available depends on your country.
🇳🇱 Netherlands
🇳🇱 Netherlands
Regional number: starts with an area code such as 020 (Amsterdam) or 010 (Rotterdam). See your options on our regional number page.
National 085 number: not tied to a place, and easy to request because you don’t need proof of address. Find out more on our 085 number page.
Proof for a regional number: your business must be based in that region, for example in Rotterdam for an 010 number. You show this with a document no older than 3 months, such as a Chamber of Commerce (KvK) extract, rental agreement or energy bill. This is a legal requirement checked by the ACM. Can’t provide this? Then choose an 085 number.
088 numbers: you can move an existing 088 number to Rinkel, but you request a new 088 number yourself from the ACM.
You can also take both: a national number for general enquiries and a regional number for a specific region.
