You can listen back to a voicemail in a few places: in your email, in MyRinkel and in the Rinkel app on your phone. Pick whichever suits you best.
Via your email
The quickest way: you get every voicemail in your inbox if voicemail notifications are switched on.
Open the email from Rinkel with the subject You have a new voicemail.
Open the MP3 attachment and play the message.
Heads up: not getting any emails? Check that Email is switched on under Notifications in MyRinkel.
In MyRinkel on your desktop (laptop or PC)
Log in to MyRinkel.
Go to Voicemail.
Click the play button next to the message you want to listen to.
Want to keep a voicemail? Click the three dots next to the message and choose Download voicemail message.
In the Rinkel app on your phone
Out and about? In the Rinkel app, you'll find all your voicemails in one place.
Open the Rinkel app on your mobile.
Tap Voicemail at the bottom.
Tap a call.
Tap Voicemail message, then tap the play button to play it.
Frequently asked questions
I can't find the email with the voicemail. What now?
Check your spam or junk folder first. Still can't find it? Go to MyRinkel or the Rinkel app > Voicemail, where it'll always be. Not getting any notifications at all? Go to your profile icon > Profile > Notifications > check New voicemails.
How long does Rinkel keep my voicemails?
Voicemails stay in your call history with no time limit. Want to be sure you keep a message? Then download the MP3 from your call history or from the email attachment.
Can a colleague access my voicemails too?
Voicemails are available, per number, to all users with access to that number. A user will see them in History and in the Rinkel app.
I want to turn voicemail off. How do I do that?
In MyRinkel, go to Number settings > Call forwarding. Under Unanswered, choose an option other than voicemail (for example transfer the call or hang up). Don't forget to click Save.
